Welcome Rookies!
Pole Position Travel has been appointed as Rookies Cup Travel programme partner.
Our mission is to ensure your travel is as smooth as possible, giving you the freedom to focus on the really important stuff: your racing!
We have designed a travel programme especially for Rookies and your parents and other members of your entourage (sponsors, assistants, friends) to be as easy as possible to setup, while keeping costs to a minimum.
How to participate?

Next contact us. Best is to complete our travel application form. You can also email the rookies coordinator, or phone +420 222 313 663 (Prague office) or +44 191 406 6260 (UK)
What happens next?
We will work out a precise schedule for each event with you. We have a 'standard' programme, but you can add days and people to it, request event tickets, and we can also work out any special requests.
You will be emailed an itinerary for each event; and once this is confirmed we will send you an invoice.
Payments
We take a 25% deposit on confirmation. For the balance you may choose:
- Pay the entire balance before the Jerez opening event
- Pay per event - you pay the balance of each event 6 weeks before the event
We understand the financial pressures on getting started in racing, thus we offer the 'pay by event' option at no further cost to help you manage your cash flow.
If you DO elect to pay all in advance, we will give you two free grandstand tickets for Estoril as a thank you.

Not a Rookie?
This web site is meant for the participants themselves.
However you CAN get involved!
If you fancy getting on the 'inside' of Motorcycle Grand Prix racing, there is no better opportunity than supporting one of the young rookies of 2008.
The 24 hopefuls in the tournament have been whittled down from well over 2000 qualified applicants, making them among the top in the world in their age group. Will a future World Champion be amongst them? Actually, there is a pretty good chance!
Relative to GP riders and teams, sponsorship of a rookie is inexpensive; and in addition to the satisfaction of helping a good kid, you get:
- Name/logo on leathers and helmet
- Access to the Rookies station in the paddock
- Invitation to the closing party at Brno
- Of course if your rookie goes on to the special Riders Cup (Indianapolis and Valencia) you will be invited to be along side
But the greatest value to sponsorship is intangible: it is the great feeling you get and the sheer excitement of seeing your guy on the grid at the start of his career.
Pole Position Travel is a huge fan of the Rookies Cup, thus to sweeten the pot, we will offer the same special packages we offer to Rookies to any sponsor (or will offer a discounted cost for deluxe/VIP packages)
